Updated for 2019-2020: 10 Lesson Series to be used in conjunction with the new AQA AS text book. These lessons were taught twice per week and lessons were 85 minutes. Resources include power points, worksheets, planned homeworks and resources such as card sorts and a knowledge organiser. Could be adapted for other specs.

Teachings on - ultimate reality self, death and afterlife sources of wisdom and authority Analysis questions: How far the belief is reasonable – that is based on reason and/or consistent with reason. How meaningful the statements of faith are, and for whom. How coherent the beliefs are, and how consistent with other beliefs within the belief system.

A 12 page booklet (written in the style of a textbook) designed to help students understand all the content that could be considered when comparing Buddhist ethics with teleology, deontology and character-based methods of making moral decisions. The booklet is designed to reference A01 and A02 content to help students understand what they should be explaining and what they should be evaluating. To help students use the booklet properly there is an attached lesson with possible exam questions and a blank knowledge organiser to help them engage with the booklet content.

Lesson looking at the value of proof for faith and the “Belief in”/“Belief that” debate.

I print these A4 and give them to my students as a basis for their own revision - excellent in conjunction with my Year 1 Buddhism revision notes (see my shop for more AQA RE Buddhism resources).
